Our team of Magento developers has recently introduced a new update for the Address Validation extension– one of our most popular extensions designed to help Magento store owners automatically check the validity of billing and shipping addresses specified by customers during the checkout process.
This time the major updated was adding an automated valid address suggestion feature. From now on, when a user types in an incorrect address, the system suggests its possible valid match. A buyer whose address was determined as incorrect during the checkout process will be offered three options to choose from:
- editing the incorrect address manually;
- proceeding with the checkout process without editing the originally indicated address;
- choosing a valid address match suggested by the extension.
